Anonymized Query Insight

Reveal the “hidden” traffic (clicks) of “NULL” query that Google hides

Problem:
Google Search Console (GSC) does not show you every single keyword that leads to your site. To protect user privacy, Google “anonymizes” very specific or rare queries, grouping them into a “null” on your bigquery data.
In the standard GSC interface, this data is invisible, you see the clicks in your totals, but you have no idea which pages are actually receiving that “hidden” click, because “null” click queries have been omitted.
Consequences:
You are making content decisions based on incomplete data. You might see a page getting 100 clicks but only see 20 keywords listed, leaving you wondering where the other 80 clicks came from.
Without seeing how much of your traffic is anonymized, you can’t accurately tell if a page is a “good investment” or understand which topics are actually attracting the most visitors.
Solution:
The Anonymized Query Insight report makes this hidden data visible by calculating the gap between your total page clicks and the keywords you can actually see.
It identifies exactly which pages are driving the most anonymized traffic and visualizes the percentage of “hidden” intent for every URL. This allows you to:
- View the exact number of “Anonymized Clicks” for every page that standard GSC reports leave out of their tables.
- Track the percentage of “Anonymized Queries” to see exactly how much of your audience’s intent is being hidden by Google for each URL.
- Find pages that look like they have zero keywords in GSC but are actually high-traffic drivers for hundreds of unique “long-tail” searches.
The “Hidden” Reality: On average, 20% to 50% of your total clicks are anonymized. This report is the only way to see which specific URLs are actually bringing that traffic to your business.
